What is the Arena Challenge?

A two-day event showcasing urban challenges and climate tech solutions, including startup pitches and networking opportunities between entrepreneurs and global industry leaders. The event will take place on 11-12/9/23 at Arena Herzliya The Arena Challenge presents a vision combining sustainable technologies and real estate betterment. We call on climate tech technology companies to come forward and propose innovative sustainable solutions at the Arena Challenge for a monetary prize. The winning solution will be selected to be implemented as a pilot at Arena, with an opportunity to offer a complete project upon completing the pilot successfully.
Arena Challenge is part of the ESG efforts by Arena Herzliya to increase property sustainability.

Our Challenges

90 tons of un-recycled trash is produced by the arena each month.

Waste

Will reconnect the arena and marina making it easily accessible to the rest of Herzliya

Smart Transportation

A goal of the arena is to reduce carbon emissions and become a green Island.

Carbon Emissions

over 1,700 meters of unshaded terraces and an additional 6,000 meters of unshaded outdoor marina spaces

Heat Islands

12,000,000 Kilo-wats are used to power the arena on average every year
